Thank you for considering Infant of Prague Catholic School!  Read on to learn more about our application process. If you have questions that were not answered here, please contact our Director of Enrollment, Ann Laatsch.

When can I apply for enrollment?

Open enrollment begins on February 1 for the coming school year. Re-enrollment takes place in mid-January. 

How can I apply?

You can apply online through our FACTS application portal. Be prepared to include your child's birth certificate, immunization record, most recent report card, and final report card from the previous school year.

When should  I hear about my applications?

Parents are notified via email of their application status 2-3 weeks after application submittal. When an acceptance is received through email, parents will have 5 days to complete their enrollment packet following the instructions in the acceptance email. A waiting pool notification may also be received via email, this status will be updated monthly. 

Do I have to be Catholic to apply?

On average, 20% of Catholic school students are not of the Catholic Faith. While our school culture is distinctly Catholic, we welcome students from all backgrounds to be a part of our community.

Is there a dress code?

IOPCS has a uniform dress code. School uniforms have often been favored for fostering a sense of belonging and unity, diminishing peer pressure and bullying, promoting discipline and focus, and many other benefits. Our full dress code policy can be found below.

How much is tuition?

Annual tuition rates can be found below. We offer discounted rates for registered, contributing parishioners of Infant of Prague as well as for multiple students being enrolled in IOPCS. Financial assistance is available through the NC Opportunity Scholarship.

What can I expect as an IOPCS parent?

Research shows that school are more effective when parents and guardians are involved. To foster parent and guardian involvement, IOPCS requires 20 Family Service Hours per school year to help support our students and school. Volunteer opportunities can be found on this website, on the FACTS Family Portal, through your Room Parent, and via emails sent to parents.

When can I apply for the NC Opportunity Scholarship?

Applications for the NC Opportunity Scholarship open on Feb 1 and close on Mar 1 for the coming school year. (I.e. The application window beginning on Feb 1, 2025, is for the 2025-26 school year.) This scholarship is available to all NC parents of K-12 students. Learn more below.
